Laura Patrizi

owner & home baker

I’ve been baking since I got my first Easy Bake Oven as a child, but decided in the Fall of 2017 to take my hobby to the next level. I began accepting orders for macarons, petit fours, and holiday pies and when the orders came flooding in, Petite Sweets Bakery was born! I have since expanded into cakes and decorated cookies, and now offer a full menu of baked goodies, petite and not-so-petite. If it needs baking, I can make it!

"Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first."

— ernestine ulmer

I’m a cottage baker, certified by the State of Texas in food handling and safety, and work out of my home kitchen when I’m not busy as a taxi driver for my kiddos. I love that my job allows me to be home and share my love of baking with my family (they love sampling the extras!).

My background in art and design helps me to create works of art that are as delicious as they are beautiful. I enjoy that each week is different and presents new creative challenges. However, one thing doesn’t change: I prioritize flavor over everything else. If it comes from my kitchen, it’s going to taste delicious.

I bake out of my home kitchen in Flower Mound under the Texas Cottage Food Laws and am licensed in food handling and safety.

Pickup of bakery items is at my home in Northeast Flower Mound, or delivery is available for a fee based on mileage. Delivery is strongly recommended for cakes with three or more tiers.

Yes! I believe everyone should be able to enjoy dessert! I have gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and nut-free options. While I carefully avoid cross-contamination, my kitchen does utilize wheat, eggs, dairy, and nuts.

Yes, cookies can be individually wrapped in heat sealed packages for no additional charge.

While I make every possible effort to ensure that your cake will withstand short amounts of travel and is packaged securely, I cannot be held responsible for damages that occur to your cake or baked items after pickup or delivery. Cakes are fragile and are very susceptible to damage due to motion, sunlight, humidity, and temperature. For this reason, we offer delivery or recommend transporting your cake on the front floorboard of an already cooled air conditioned vehicle. We also advise not driving the cake around more than absolutely necessary or leaving the cake in a warm car for any length of time.
